The threading die should screw onto the workpiece's thread manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The threading ring should screw onto the workpiece's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Threading Mismatch Indicator: If the ring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C
- Calibration Certificate (On Request): VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC thread scanners
