A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra effort). If not possible, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side can screw in up to two turns by hand. If it goes further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). The reference temperature for workpieces and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request. Calibration is done in an independent lab following set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
