A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The Gut side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without extra force. If not, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can screw in by hand up to two turns. More than that, the thread fails to meet the desired standards. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Calibration, independent of VÖLKEL's production, follows set guidelines and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) in a certified lab, using IAC-Gewindescanner.
