The Gewindelehrring should not be manually screwed onto the thread of the work piece more than two threads without extra force. If it can be screwed on more than two threads, the thread does not meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). These defective Lehrringe are marked red. The reference temperature for the work pieces and Lehrringe is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a Werkskalibrierschein. The calibration is done in an independent lab following DIN, ISO, ANSI standards on IAC-Gewindescanner.
- Hand-tightening Limit: The Gewindelehrring should not screw onto the workpiece's thread more than two turns
- Excessive Threading: If the Lehrring can be screwed on more than two turns, the thread does not meet the required standards (Ausschuss)
- Identification: Ausschuss-Lehrringe are marked in red
- Reference Temperature: The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C
- Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
