By hand, the reject gauge pin can be screwed into the cut thread up to a maximum of two turns without excessive force. If it can be screwed in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (i.e., it is a reject). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on request). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective test specimen, using IAC thread scanners.
