By hand, the inspection mandrel can be screwed into the cut thread up to a maximum of two turns without excessive force. If it can be screwed in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (i.e., it is defective). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price available upon inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory following the specified guidelines and standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective test specimen, using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Insertion Limit: The Ausschusslehrdorn can be screwed into the cut thread by hand, up to two turns without excessive force
- Gewinde Quality Check: If the Lehrdorn can be screwed in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (Ausschuss)
