By hand, the inspection plug can be screwed into the cut thread up to two turns without excessive force. If it screws in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to all workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
