The reject gauge pin can be manually screwed into the cut thread, up to a maximum of two turns, without exerting excessive force. If it can be screwed in further, the thread does not meet the desired specifications (i.e., it is a reject). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price available upon inquiry). The calibration is performed in a laboratory independent of VÖLKEL's production, following the specified standards and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective test item, using IAC thread scanners.
