A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra effort). If not possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side can screw in up to two turns by hand. More than that indicates the thread doesn't meet the desired standards. Werkstücke and Lehren have a reference temperature of 20°C. VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
