A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a combination of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschussseite of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The Gut-Seite must screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without excessive force. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss-Seite may be screwed in by hand up to two turns without excessive force. If it can be screwed in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards. A reference temperature of 20° Celsius applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a Werkskalibrierschein. Calibration is performed in an independent measuring laboratory according to the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
