The 641 and 851 Precision Woodworking Squares offer the features of our top-selling 1281 in more compact, 'apron-friendly' sizes. You can conveniently carry either square with you in your shop at all times. Unlike most squares available, these have a single-piece central core precisely machined to within ±.0085° of 90°, or even better. On both sides of this core, we attach precision-machined cheeks flush with the base and 1/4" back from the inside edge, creating a shoulder that keeps the square aligned with your material without constant holding. Whether you're setting up machinery, laying out joinery, or checking parts, these squares are your ideal companions for every project step.
