The PYREX polytetrafluoroethylene faced silicone septa fit into open top PBT caps (No. 1395-45HTSC) with GL45 threads to allow for aseptic reagent delivery or culture sampling using a syringe and needle. They can be autoclaved at 121°C or dry heat sterilized at up to 180°C.

- The normal use temperature range for this product is from -50°C to +125°C. This product is not designed for direct contact heating.
