SPECIFICATIONS:500 heat activated 4.25 x 6.25 inch 3 mil Laminating Pouches sealed on one edge including 5 silicone coated laminating carriers for laminators that require them. Compatible with all thermal pouch laminators capable of sealing 3 mil 4.25 x 6.25 inch (metric 108mm x 159mm x 75 micron x 2 flaps adds 150 microns thickness to your card). 3 mil is the thinnest standard laminating pouch thickness available and seals in all pouch laminators capable of heat laminating 3 mil pouches for 6 mil total added to your sheet. Laminates have pre-rounded corners for a smooth, safe professional finish. Polyester plastic has heat activated adhesive which becomes clear when heat and pressure is applied (laminator recommended). Note: Industry standard specification for 3 mil laminating pouches is 3 mil on each flap for a total of 6 mil added to your paper sheet card. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns). The industry calls these pouches; however, are sealed on only one edge instead of three (more like a file folder than a pouch, but with a 3/32” flat folded spine). TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:4 x 6 photos, Flash Cards, 4x6 Index Cards and Arts & Crafts Tips:When trying any brand for the 1st time, consider running at a slightly lower temperature (or faster speed). If the results are cloudy, you can always run the sheet again at a higher temperature or slower speed, but you cannot fix heat blisters caused by running too hot or too slow. If planning on trimming laminated sheets, wait 24 to 72 hours for curing time for a professional cut edge.
