This is a re-release of the iconic browline frame "SIRMONT," which originated in the 1950s.
BJ CLASSIC faithfully reproduces the American Optical Sirmont, and the "SIRMONT" engraving is now rare. (The model name and engraving will be changed to "BROS BROW" in the future.)
This is a representative piece of classic eyewear, also known for being worn by the black liberation leader Malcolm X.
