Beautiful 3 inch tall cloth doll with embroidered face and embroidery floss hair, hand stitched evergreen polka dot dress and cream pinafore with Christmas tree pattern.
Signed by the maker Mary E. Doersom, a Lancaster artisan who died in 2014. Dated 1998.
She is about the size of a 1:12 dollhouse preschooler and could be a cute “child size doll” for a dollhouse girl.
Wonderful hard to find collector’s item, beautifully crafted. I haven’t seen a single one for sale elsewhere, only photos in the maker’s obituary. Selling off an inherited collection.
