This is a tapestry (or bandana?) featuring a flag signal design in a two-layer structure of red and navy. It's 100% cotton. The one in the bag is a new, unused item that has been restored once. The other one was displayed for a while and has small stains in places (they are not very noticeable and might come out if washed).
Together, the two represent a prayer for safe voyages, which is lovely.
