This is a pair of RED WING's classic model 8166, customized with a sole that gives it a Beckman-inspired look. The soles have been customized and the uppers have been maintained for this listing.

While retaining the original classic feel, the soles have been changed to provide better grip and durability, making them especially suitable for city wear. The laces are 110cm long, the shanks are leather, and the heels are QUABAUG! The photos were taken after oiling, so the color is overall darker, but it should lighten up a bit as the oil wears off.

The leather uppers have aged naturally with wear, developing a deep color and texture that new ones can't achieve. You can further develop them into a unique pair of shoes by wearing them. The cork and other inner materials have also been replaced, so the feel when worn is like new. There are some minor cracks on the uppers, but they don't appear to be serious tears.
