Rhys Jenkins was an early 20th century Welsh artist-little is known about him. This print (from an original watercolor painting) is 8 x 12 inches and it depicts a Middle Eastern street scene. It is newly matted in a light blue acid-free mat, in a vintage thin wood golden-colored frame, total size is 14.5 x 18.5 inches. I have seen this image titled as “El Zarub”, “El Farub”, and “Eastern Market”. I love the subtle colors of blue and the perspective of being invited to walk into the square and under the archway.
