The tube and spider feature a welded anchor plate at the base, with a welded nut on the plate's back. A short bolt, accompanied by a flat and lock washer, is screwed through the foot and into the welded anchor plate, providing a superior method to competitors who use long rods that can become loose over time. The spiders are larger than those of competitors, offering enhanced strength and durability, and are also welded to the tube. The base's bottoms boast welded glide tabs with a hollow back, a feature not possible with cast iron bases, significantly reducing the likelihood of faulty leveling glides.
