Engineered with premium components for optimal security, this Sargent 8270 series lock embodies over a century of hardware manufacturing expertise, setting the standard for strength, durability, flexibility, and innovation in the industry.
- Door Thickness: Standard for doors 1-3/4" (44mm) thick. Specify thickness and panels for doors over 1-3/4" (44mm)
- Backset: Fixed backset of 2-3/4" (70mm)
- Case Material: 12-gauge heavy-duty wrought steel case, zinc dichromate plated, 7/64" (3mm) thick
- Front Plate: Adjustable front plate, 8" x 1-1/4", ANSI A115.1, in brass, bronze, or stainless steel
- Spring Type: High carbon steel spring
- Knob Hubs: Sintered iron copper infiltrated hubs for knobs
