Schweres Wurfgerat 41 Rocket Launcher

During WWII, Germany introduced numerous weapon systems, including rocket launchers. These entered combat in 1941, delivering massed HE shellfire that, while not as accurate as regular artillery, was devastating. Dragon has crafted a 1/6 scale model of the Wurfgert 41 rocket launcher, ideal for pairing with similarly scaled action figures. This launcher, a tubular steel framework, could accommodate 280mm HE or 320mm incendiary rockets in wooden or steel crates. Once the crates were inclined, the rockets could be fired, with HE shells reaching 1920m and 320mm rockets extending to 2195m. Dragon's model boasts a correct steel frame and four shipping crates, each containing a rocket. The wooden crates feature authentic wood-grain patterns, and all parts fit together easily. The set includes two 28cm and two 32cm rockets, making it an impressive display piece when combined with figures for a realistic scene. Models are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
