Scotch Tape 23 is a 30 mil, premium grade, highly conformable, rubber splicing tape. The self fusing tape has a special polyester liner, which will not stick to the tape upon unwind. It withstands temperatures up to 194 °F (90 °C).
- PREMIUM GRADE TAPE: Commonly used as primary insulation for solid dielectric insulated cable splice and termination applications up to 69 kV
- SPECIAL POLYESTER LINER: Lining keeps tape protected and clean during application and will not stick to the tape upon unwind
- TEMPERATURE RANGE: Operating Temperature rated to 90 °C (194 °F), Emergency Overload rating of 130 °C (266 °F)
- HALOGEN-FREE ADHESIVE: Halogen free per the International Electrotechnical Commission Standard
- CERTIFICATION: Self-certified to ASTM D4388 Type III and ROHS Compliant
- STABILITY: 5-year shelf life from the date of manufacture
