This listing is for a rare promotional copy (28AH1880) of Seiko Matsuda's "The 9th Wave" LP. Released on June 5, 1985, it was Seiko-san's 11th original album. It was also her last original album before her temporary hiatus due to her marriage to Masaki Kanda. The album includes "Boy no Kisetsu," which is a counterpart to her debut song "Hadashi no Kisetsu." The final track, "Natsu no Genei," features the lyrics "Good bye" and the sound of waves, mirroring the beginning of her debut album "SQUALL" with the sound of tears. It is said that this album fueled rumors of Seiko-san's retirement.

I apologize for the lengthy introduction.

The LP being offered is a promotional copy, which is not often seen for Seiko-san's albums. Both the jacket and the record itself show little sign of use, with minimal discoloration, warping, or scratches. Playback noise is also minimal. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition copy. Thank you for your interest.
