The Shocker Hitch chain style weight distribution tow system is engineered to provide easy hook up and adjustment. The chain mounts make it easier to fine tune the adjustable load bars. This WD hitch system is made to evenly distribute weight and reduce trailer sway. This weight distributing system with adjustable chains offers class IV rated 1,200 pound TW / 12,000 pound (GTW) system. Ideally used when your pickup truck or SUV won't handle the tongue weight of the trailer you are towing. Often used on campers and other heavier trailers.Check your specific vehicle's towing capacity before choosing one that fits your needs. The Shocker weight distribution system with chains offers adjustments to provide a more level ride giving you better steering and braking control. The clamp on chain lift brackets and tappers load spring bars assist with both leveling the load, evenly distributing the weight, as well as sway control. This gives you better control while towing, adding safety, comfort & more stability. All the hardware needed for installation is included and no drilling is required. - Up to 12,000 lbs GTW: Minimum gross trailer weight range of 6,000LBS to Maximum of 12,000 lbs. Features 2-5/16" Ball: Comes with 2-5/16" preinstalled hitch ball that is torqued to proper specifications.
- Up to 7" Trailer Frames: Clamp-on brackets fit up to 4" to 7" tall and 1.5 to 2" wide trailer frames. Ball Mount Has Sway Arm Bar Mounts: For additional sway control, friction sway arm bar kits are available and sold separately. The hitch head has sway bar mount tabs.
- Fits 2" Receiver Hitch & has 8.5" deep-drop shank designed for today's trucks. Fits 2-5/16" Ball Couplers: Fits top and bottom mounted couplers. Built Heavy Duty: High-strength steelhead and welded hitch bar. Black Powder Coat Finish: Durable powder-coated finish is corrosion resistance.
