To inflate the self-inflating sleep pad: 1)Completely open sleep pad and roll onto flat surface. 2)Locate both valves at the head of the sleep pad. 3)Ensure the valve on the pillow is completely open, and the valve on the side is completely closed 4)Press by hand or foot on the pillow near the valve, lifting pressure between pressing motions to allow air to flow into the mat. 5)Repeat until sleep pad is fully inflated. 6)Completely open both valves and roll mat from foot to head to deflate and repack.
