Its convenient design enables a clean technique when applying dressing to a wound. It can be used as a wound dressing for postoperative wounds, cuts, lacerations, sutured wounds. This dressing is easy to apply and remove and is breathable, stretchable, comfortable, individually wrapped, non-irritating, and non-sensitizing. It is also permeable to moisture vapor and uses a well-tolerated, low-allergy adhesive. When used as directed by your healthcare professional or the full package instructions, this dressing can become convenient for patients and users alike. Directions: To apply PRIMAPORE Dressing, peel away the backing papers to expose the non-adherent absorbent pad. Hold the backing papers at each end of the dressing, carefully position the dressing over the designated area, and remove the release papers. Gently smooth the dressing into place, and apply light pressure, especially around the edges. Take care not to stretch the dressing on application as this may cause trauma to the underlying skin. • LOW-ADHERENT WOUND CONTACT LAYER: The pad’s low-adherent wound contact layer helps to minimize disruption or trauma to the underlying tissue when removing the dressing. It has low-allergy acrylic adhesive spread onto the non-woven backing layer, which provides safe and secure fixation over the wound site.
• SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR WOUND CARE: PRIMAPORE Dressing features an absorbent pad that is permeable to moisture vapor. It is a non-irritating, non-sensitizing, low-adherent wound contact layer and contains a well-tolerated, low-allergy adhesive with a low risk of skin irritation.
