The carbon steel blades on this particular shear are shorter (8" / 200mm) to allow greater control during use; making these shears ideal when you want to shape a hedge, bush or shrub. Blade tension can be adjusted by way of the tensioning nut located at the base of the blades giving the user greater control and ensuring blade tension can be increased after periods of prolonged use, which can cause tension to slacken. The tubular steel handles provide strength and incorporate shock absorbers and soft feel non-slip grips for comfort during use. This item has a 10 year guarantee.
