The compressed cotton pad expands when exposed to water, causing the valve to depress inside the detector, which cuts off the water to the filtration system at the elbow joint.
- EASY VERSATILE INSTALL: 1/4" QuickConnect ports can be used as either the inlet or the outlet for the detector. The tray includes 6 mounting points for custom installation options, and install is easily done using just a Phillips head screwdriver. Look for the SP-LD133-BRK wall mount brackets (sold separately) for optional wall mounting for basement and custom installations.
- HEAVY DUTY TRAY: The large drip tray is composed of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, which is known for its durability. - LARGE SIZE COMPATIBILITY: This leak detector kit and tray is the perfect size for SpiroPure RO systems, such as the SP-RO100 and SP-RO200ST, as well as any undersink water filtration system that uses 1/4" QC tubing. The 16-1/2" x 9-1/6" tray is big enough for most RO systems, but is also a compact size that slides neatly under kitchen sinks.
