S.T.37 is a topical antiseptic and oral-pain-reliever solution containing 0.1% Hexylresorcinol as its active ingredient. It is marketed for first-aid use on minor cuts, scrapes, burns, and abrasions — and also as a gentle oral rinse for mouth irritations, sore throat, and minor oral pain. It is designed to kill common pathogenic bacteria on contact, while remaining gentle on skin and mucous membranes (i.e. “won’t sting — won’t stain”)
