Each of my artworks hides animals, humans, or objects. The squirrel piece features 64 concealed creatures and one Chaz face. I often incorporate my face into my drawings. I use Rotring Rapidograph pens, as fine as .13mm, on 100 pound acid-free bristol board with a plate finish. Starting with a pencil sketch, I add details, find shapes of smaller animals, and keep adding until the drawing is complete. It's like solving a puzzle. The final step is inking it in. My drawings aim to provide a respite from the fast-paced world, encouraging thoughts about nature and its incredible inhabitants.
