These ferrocerium firesteel rods measure 5/16" in diameter and 3.2" in length. A KYDEX band at the top, along with a shock cord loop, secures the firesteel in your sheath as it wears down. The attachment is crafted from .080 thick KYDEX , with holes spaced 1 1/2" apart. Chicago screws are included for sheath attachment.
