STANLEY Duplex Rebate Fine Grey Iron Plane, 1-12-1978

The STANLEY BAILEY N°78 duplex rebate plane has been made from fine grey iron with all working surfaces accurately machined for precise results. Two cutter positions are suitable for planning new rebates and widening or deepening existing rebates. The cutter is adjustable for depth of cut in the rear position depending on desired material removal. To accurately control dimensions of the rebate, an adjustable fence and depth gauge are supplied. A cutting spur is also provided for cutting against the cross grain of wood.
