This is a reproduction of an old Steiff bear design held in the "Margaret Strong Museum" in the United States.
I think this is a classic and simple bear design, just like a teddy bear should be.
The antique lace around the neck is removable.
This is not original; I added it.
It's well-made and has a good weight, allowing you to feel Steiff's careful teddy bear craftsmanship.
