The Soviet GAZ-AAA truck, renowned for its robustness and reliability, served in diverse roles. Notably, it was adapted as a mobile platform for the 76.2mm obr 1927 regimental gun, creating the SU-12, the Red Army's first self-propelled gun. Produced between 1932 and 1935, the SU-12 had a four-man crew, with one responsible for driving. The gun boasted a 270 arc of fire and carried 36 rounds of ammunition. Despite limited protection for the crew, the SU-12 offered crucial mobile fire support against determined foes. It saw action in the Soviet-Japanese border wars, the invasion of Poland, and the Winter War against Finland. Despite its limited numbers, the SU-12 remained in service during the Great Patriotic War against Germany. This set includes three SU-12 Self-propelled Guns with crew. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and may require assembly.
