- This is a very rare, early 1960s Polo Ralph Lauren tie. The early Polo ties surpassed those of Brooks Brothers, Paul Stuart, and J. Press. This is one of the most attractive ties from Polo of that era.
- It uses incredibly thick and expressive, top-quality linen that would be impossible to find in modern products. The color is a slightly reddish-purple burgundy.
