- H.R. Giger (Hans Rudolf Giger) -
A Swiss painter and designer. Sometimes written as Hansruedi Giger or Hans Ruedi Giger. Born in Chur, Switzerland, he later studied architecture and industrial design in Zurich. Known for his record and CD cover art, and his designs for the movie "Alien." He fell down the stairs in the fall of 2013 and passed away in the hospital on May 12, 2014, while recovering, at the age of 74.
