As a team of wildlife rangers, your goal is to safeguard various species in your wildlife reserve, shielding them from potential hazards. In 'The Peak Team', a cooperative game by Scott Almes, 2-5 rangers collaborate to tackle diverse challenges. The main board depicts the wildlife reserve, dominated by a towering mountain split into distinct regions. Employing a 'reverse-drafting' mechanic, where each player allocates their cards to others, rangers acquire necessary tools to explore the mountain via varied paths and transportation systems. By reaching different locations and observing wildlife, players complete personal missions and earn bonuses. Each ranger has two mission slots that fill up upon task completion. Only by finishing all missions before exhausting actions will the rangers successfully accomplish their duty.
