Famous Tennessee Judge S K Sue Hicks House of Representatives Letterhead Dated 1935
Judge Sue Hicks may have been the inspiration for the Johnny Cash song A Boy Named Sue.
This item is from the family estate of Tennessee Senator Estes Kefauver. Estes also ran for President and vice President with Stevenson against Nixon/Eisenhower.
This letter was written to Estes' sister Nora Kefauver.
At one time there was a fire in part of his childhood home. So this item does have some soot staining, discoloration/staining, creasing, wrinkled, has wear around the edge, with normal estate wear. Please see pictures/scans for more details.
