Product Description All Metal Lock Nuts are nuts with a crowned top that is crimped to create the locking feature. These nuts are hardened to a Grade C strength level, which is equivalent to 150,000 psi/min Proof Load Strength. Grade C nuts are also recommended for use with A-325 structural bolts. Lock nuts provide excellent resistance to loosening in high vibration applications.
