This red shoulder pads variant LOD tag team set is one of only five hundred sets that were ever made in the world! To say these are beyond rare is an understatement. To this day, over the last twenty years, I’ve literally never seen another LOD red pads tag team for sale online or in person! Once in a blue moon I’ll come one or the other, but I’ve never seen both available.
That leads me to believe most of the 500 figures that were originally produced most likely no longer exist..these were sold in Japan and wrestling figure collectors we’re not the ones buying these. Parents would buy them for the kids to play with until eventually they ultimately found their way into the trash... This may be the one and only time you will ever come across this tag team grail set for sale in your life!
