Range in microsiemens (micromhos) is 0.01 to 200,000, in megohms is 0.001 to 20.000, range in dissolved solids/parts per million is 0.1 to 20,000, and in salinity is 2 to 42 (oceanographic units). Accuracy is +/-0.3 percent +1 digit. Use to check the purity of water from stills and demineralizers, to analyze seawater, and to make up solutions.
