Authenticity: NGC GRADED
Type B Washington quarters have a reverse design that features a leaf tip that extends above the top arrow tip and angles slightly to the left at the top. The leaf is also strongly struck and feeds directly into the "a" of "dollar". Type B reverses were used on some proofs from 1937–1942 and 1950–1964. This item is a Proof Graded PR64.
Please see pictures for details as the “A” in dollar is touching the leaf, as well note the “E” & “S” in States have a larger gap then non proof quarters. The population of type B quarters compared to normal type A quarters (circulation) is only a small percent. These coins are rare to come across graded and adds value to numismatic collection.
