Once upon a time, trains were the swiftest means for medium and long-distance travel, making them indispensable for various purposes. From visiting loved ones to exploring new places, work, or school, trains were the go-to mode of transport. Their speed was remarkable, but it was their ability to carry immense weight at unprecedented speeds that truly set them apart. Trains became the primary method for transporting goods and raw materials like lumber, coal, and steel. They have played a pivotal role in achieving numerous great things. However, for trains to function, they require rails. Today, machines lay train tracks, but historically, this perilous and arduous task was undertaken by humans. My 'All Aboard' series pays tribute to the ingenious invention of the train and the brave men and women who risked their lives to make our dreams a reality.
