I remember purchasing these in 2002.
I've worn them a few times, but haven't worn them in over 20 years. However, I've regularly brushed them and maintained them with moisturizing cream, checking the leather's condition.
There are some slight creases from wear, but there is no sole wear or loss of shape, so I think you can enjoy the aging process.
