The Trident gate latch can be installed for left or right swinging gates; see installation instructions for details. The Trident gate latch features a top pull design for added safety so that children cannot reach the latch to open it. The Trident latch comes with everything you need for installation, including the latch, instructions and all fasteners. The Trident latch requires a gate gap between 3/8 inches and 1-1/2 inches.
