Based on a dress shirt from the 1910s found in New York.
In those days, white shirts (plain white dress shirts) were considered the epitome of elegance, and owning a certain number of them was a status symbol for the wealthy. For those who only had a minimum number of shirts, detachable collars were introduced, allowing the collar to be removed. This allowed them to wear white shirts by only washing the collar. In the 1910s, when three-dimensional patterns were the norm, the construction of this shirt is quite unique. It features a shoulder line with no shoulder slope, armholes that are tight at the sides, and sleeves attached straight. It is formed with a pattern that has more straight lines than expected. The design incorporates the straight-line pattern and the band collar, which was in a lost state.
The material is cotton flannel fabric using pre-dyed TOP yarn. It has been given a slight brushed finish on both sides, giving it a smooth feel and gentle warmth. The product has been dyed to give it a unique texture.
