What is Ufouria: the saga. Released in 1991 in Japan, where it was known as Hebereke, the original Ufouria: The Saga was one of Sunsoft's flagship titles from the 1990s. Known for its comedic and surreal world, Ufouria: The Saga was the starting point of an entire franchise. Over the years, several more titles were developed with the characters of the game, setting its place as a bona fide series in stone. Despite their different genres, Action, Fighting, Puzzle, Racing, etc., and platforms, all those games retain the worldview of the series. And now, 33 years later, the one who started it all is finally getting a sequel. Hebe, O-Chan, Sukezaemon and Jennifer are ready for a new adventure. Welcome back to the crazy world of Ufouria. Long ago, in a time unknown to us, there existed a world called Ufouria. It was so named because only four different species inhabited the many beautiful lands. All the creatures of Ufouria lived together in peace and harmony. But all this changed when the evil alien Utsujin landed on Earth with ambitions to take over the planet. With help from his 'Bumyons making everything icky, Utsujin begins to set his evil plan in motion. Finding all this as very cool of him, Hebe and his close friends O-Chan, Sukezaemon and Jennifer embark on an adventure to haunt the nefarious Utsujin.
