US Cargo Control 5/8" x 4" Galvanized Shoulder Eye Bolts

These shoulder eye bolts are made of heavy duty forged steel and are galvanized. Eyebolts with shoulders can be used for either straight line or angular lifts, though angular lifts significantly reduce rated capacities. If the direction of pull is 45 degrees the working load limit is reduced to 30% of the listed rating and for lifts at 0 degrees the working load limit is reduced to 25% of the listed rating. A forged eye bolt is primarily used as a connection point for other rigging supplies, so don't forget to check out our selection of wire rope, shackles and turnbuckles. Please Note:Loading at an angle will significantly reduce a bolt's rated capacity; a 45 degree angle reduces it to just 1/4 of the stated rating. Never load at an angle greater than 45 degrees from the bolt center line.
