Genuine US military (not guaranteed) N3B extreme cold weather flight jacket.
Vintage item from 1972, contract number.

Size: US Large

Coyote fur, with shorter hairs used on the front for better visibility, showing careful craftsmanship.
The insulation is not cotton, but a towel-like material with long fibers, which I believe will prevent uneven clumping. Of course, it's not a flimsy, worn-out towel, but rather a stiff, bulky insulation.
The zipper is a well-preserved Scovill zipper.

The N3B was used as ground cold weather gear at polar bases.
Designed to be worn with layers, it has a relaxed fit, giving the feeling of wearing a futon.
You can zip it all the way up and enjoy the original intended use of the fur (looking like an alien).

There are some stains and faint paint marks.
The button on the right chest is missing.

The ribbing is relatively tight and not worn out.
Considering its manufacturing year, the label is well-preserved, making it a valuable item in good condition.
Long-term storage item.
From a collection being released.
I haven't worn it since purchasing it, and it hasn't been washed, so it has that vintage clothing smell.
It seems like it would clean up nicely with a hand wash in a bathtub.

Shipping may involve rolling it up and using old newspapers or cardboard.

Thank you for looking.
