The updated Made in UK '991v2' from 991 reinterprets the original's traditional design in a modern way. The "991" logo on the heel has been moved to the heel side, and the "V2" logo is placed on the heel instead. In addition, updates have been made throughout, such as the addition of FuelCell midsole cushioning, rebound resilience, and lightness, which are used in running shoes. This pair is a sequel to the NB x Danielle Cathari collaboration model that appeared last year. The color scheme of chocolate brown and green, inspired by matcha & chocolate, is reversed and applied to the mesh and suede upper. The tongue features the New Balance and Cathari collaboration logo, and the side features the reflective N logo. Inspired by the pastries that designer Daniëlle loves, this model is finished in an elegant and warm color scheme reminiscent of baked goods with a nutty flavor.
